How Handheld Voting works
Security
Handheld voting gives you the extra function of voter security. No internet connection is needed for the physical devices, which talk directly to our platform using in-room radio signals. This means no possible external threat to the voting process.
Our online virtual handheld pad solution is based on encrypted communication and can only be accessed using known credentials.
Those participants who will not be attending in person will, prior to the meeting, receive a code-protected link to access the virtual handheld voting pad.
Managed Service
Handheld voting is an ideal hybrid meeting solution.
We will set up and configure key parts of the voting system ahead of the meeting and undertake a proof check process with the client prior to any aspect going live.
Where participants arrive for a physical meeting, we will man the registration desk and issue physical handheld voting pads and be on hand to support and run the voting processes.
We provide support to remote participants voting via the virtual handheld pads via phone and email support.
